TEEN VOGUE It Girl and high school junior Camila, 17, embodies what inner-beauty really means by working for change, just like her idol, COVERGIRL model, actress, director and activist, Drew Barrymore.

“I got involved with NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council) when I was 13. I’ve always been passionate about animals and the environment,” she explains. Camila raises money in school for the council, and has written letters and sent signed petitions to senators, members of Congress, and even President Obama, urging them to support and protect the environment.

Her first hero? “My mom,” she says. “She’s a smart, funny, stylish woman and she made me appreciate fashion and beauty at an early age.” Fave film: “Sixteen Candles.” Personal Style: relaxed, yet classy, with hints of Bohemia.
